Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Area

Lunchbox Buddy currently operates exclusively within selected suburbs in Pretoria, Gauteng. Please check our website’s delivery areas list to ensure we cover your location before ordering.

2. Delivery Fees

We charge a flat delivery fee of R20.00 per address, per delivery. If you order multiple boxes to the same physical address on the same date, you will only be charged a single R20 delivery fee.

3. Route-Based Delivery Schedule

To keep our carbon footprint and costs low, we use a route-based delivery system.

• Deliveries typically happen during the last week of the month, ready for the new school month.
• You will be notified via WhatsApp of your specific delivery day and a time window.
• We cannot guarantee exact delivery times, as this depends on the route for that specific day.

4. Receiving Your Delivery

• Our driver will contact you when they are nearby.
• Please ensure someone is available at the address during the specified time window to receive the box.
• If no one is home, please provide instructions for a safe drop-off location (e.g., with security, or over a gate). Lunchbox Buddy cannot be held liable for theft, heat damage, or pests if a box is left outside per your instructions.

5. Failed Deliveries

If we attempt delivery and are unable to reach you, and no safe drop-off location has been specified, the box will be returned to our facility. A second delivery attempt will incur an additional R20 fee, or you may be asked to collect the box from us.
